Easter at The Community Church
Easter is about new beginnings.
Come celebrate Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter with us! We've got special activities and lessons for the kids, so bring the whole family for a meaningful and joyful experience. Let's journey through these important days together and embrace the spirit of Easter!
Begin Easter week with Palm Sunday service at 10:00 am, followed by brunch at 11:00 am. CC Kids classes and Nursery will be offered for children of all ages. Brunch is open for everyone to enjoy, relax, connect, and of course, take pictures with the Easter Bunny. You may RSVP to brunch today!
Good Friday is the day of reflection on Jesus’ story, his sacrifice, and his love for us. Join us for an evening of reflection, prayer, and music through a candlelight experience. A specially crafted lesson for children will be provided for CC Kids. If you would like to learn more or serve on one of our volunteer teams this day, please contact our team.
Rejoice with us on Easter Sunday with two opportunities: 9:30 am or 11:00am service! All are welcome to celebrate our most important Sunday. Nursery and CC Kids lessons for preschool - Grade 5 will be available during both service times. If you have any questions, please contact our team.
DIRECTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY CHURCH
We are open for the entire community! No matter where you live, you are welcome.
The best access to the church is via the Smoke Rise North Gate just off Route 23 South. Mention to the attendant that you are going to church and you’ll be on your way. After passing through the gate, make a left onto North Road. You’ll see our sign and parking lot entrance to your left.

At our church, people tend to dress very casually, but many who attend on Easter prefer to dress up.

Our services are 60 minutes long and filled with upbeat music, great preaching, and most importantly, hot coffee! Feel free to grab a cup at our Good News Cafe on your way into the service.

Yes! We have a few options for our families to fit all needs.
Nursery is for ages birth to toddler who will be watched by skilled staff and volunteers.
CC Kids is available for preschool - elementary students who would like to enjoy a Bible lesson, craft, and play games.
CC Youth for grades 5-8 are encouraged to sit with their families inside for the worship service. CC Youth will resume on Sunday, April 27.
Family Lounge: If you would like to stay with your children that is not a problem! Please visit our family lounge in the first hallway from the Welcome Door, equipped with a livestream of the service and toys for all ages.

Absolutely!
Attendees at The Community Church come from many towns in the Greater Kinnelon area (Butler, Bloomingdale, West Milford, Booton, etc.).
Our church is located just inside the North Gate of the Smoke Rise community. Just let the gate attendant know you are heading to church, and they will wave you through!
