CC Youth Group

(Middle School)

2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays

  • This week, we see how Daniel shared his faith by eating the way God asked, and Peter encourages us to answer questions about Jesus with gentleness and respect. Sometimes blending into the crowd seems easier because it takes courage to stand out. This week, we see how Daniel, immersed in a new culture, stayed faithful to God, even in small choices like what he ate. His story shows us that our actions shape how others see our faith, and we can show our faith by doing things God's way.

    Lesson Plan

  • This week, we’ll watch three friends share their faith while in a fiery furnace, and Paul encourages a church to demonstrate their faith together through love. A good reputation for following God might earn respect, but real faith is proven when it’s tested. This week, we see how Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego’s unwavering choice to worship only God—and not bow to the king’s statue—was tested in a fiery furnace. Their story reminds us that we’re never alone—God is with us, and we have each other—so we can show our faith together.

    Lesson Plan

  • This week, we’ll see how God helps Daniel share his faith in a lion’s den and watch Jesus give the Holy Spirit to guide his disciples. Sometimes, people will try to ruin your reputation, especially when you stand firm in your faith. This week, we’ll see how Daniel’s enemies set a trap for him, leading to a night in a den full of hungry lions. Daniel kept trusting God, reminding us that no matter what kind of “lions’ den” we’re thrown into, we can show our faith when things get difficult.
